Corbin and Colin sleeping in the RV

Roasting marshmellows for s'mores! A camping tradition.

Colin gets a nice mud bath

Our second dinner in Big Bear is also a Dream Dinner: Herb crusted sirlon steak. Not bad for RV living

Testing out the waters at Big Bear Lake

An amusing sign

We think this sign used to say "pass" before some funny hikers got ahold of it.

Making pancakes in Big Bear

<<IMG_0128.JPG>> After a great night's sleep, the boys help make
pancakes and sausage. We don't know yet what we're doing today but the
first stop is the Big Bear Discovery Center to get some ideas.

Big Bear Lake with Conrad and Colin

<<IMG_0127.JPG>> Just a day after we got home from San Francisco, we
took the RV up 7000ft to Big Bear Lake's Serrano Campground. It's a very
quiet place with full hookups! That means we have all the electricity
and water we need. It's the height of RV living. Joining us are my
brother's two boys, Conrad and Colin.

Our breakfast on the final morning

<<IMG_0108.JPG>> You'll notice that I made homemade biscuits! Donna
Reed has NOTHING on me!

Back up to San Francisco for Aunt Nancy and Uncle Lloyd's 25th Anniversay

<<IMG_0118.JPG>> Uncle Daryl hosted a lovely party for Nancy and
Lloyd's 25th Anniversary. So it was a quick trip up to San Francisco on
Saturday and back down on Sunday.

Sunset dinner at our campsite

<<IMG_0106.JPG>> This photo sums up why we bought the RV. It's moments
like this.

Playing at the San Onofre beach

Bridgette helps keep the RV clean

<<IMG_0084.JPG>> Three kids really get the RV dirty.

Breakfast in the RV!

<<IMG_0083.JPG>> We all slept like logs here at the beach! We woke up
and made a breakfast of pancakes and turkey sausage! Yum.

Camping means S'mores for dessert!!

The Haley's RV'ing!

<<IMG_0061.JPG>> This is what we look like as RV'ers. And we're NOT the
only gays with an RV. About three sites aways was a nice gay couple! WHO
KNEW?!?

Terry cooks up a DreamDinner that I made a couple of weeks ago!

<<IMG_0058.JPG>> Terry joined us only on Wednesday because he had to
work on Thursday and Friday! BOO HOO!

The Haley's take their first RV trip: San Onofre Beach for two days with the Boones

<<IMG_0060.JPG>> After all the publicity about us buying the RV, it was
time to actually use it! So we packed up the RV with the Boone kids and
set out to San Onofre beach in San Diego county.

Mussel Shoals

This is Corbin and hia buddy Carl from school at their valcation place just north of Ventura. We're hoping that cloud formation is not nucular. Wait, is it nuclear or nucular?
