Our Morning Canyon Tour

Chris, Jeff, Jaime and Carl all set out on a two hour Zion Canyon tour while Corbin and Will attended a Junior Ranger Workshop. We made it back to the RV by noon when the temperatures had risen to 100 degrees at least. So we had an indoor lunch and then all took a long nap. The rest of the afternoon was spent enjoying the EXTREMELY COOL river.

Our Morning Canyon Tour

DAY 0 & 1: We left LA on Friday night headed for Zion. We spent the night in a quiet housing development off the freeway in Las Vegas. In the morning we continued on about three hours to Zion National Park. Our campsite is right on a river where we all enjoy cooling off! By 3:00pm, it was around 100 degrees and it was Popsicle time!

The Southwest 17 day tour begins

We sold our RV last week so we've rented a beautiful 34ft Fleetwood Southwind and set off with our friends, Chris & Jeff and their two boys, Will and Jaime. We'll be hitting Zion, Bryce, the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell and finally Durango, Colorado.
